About Me

Welcome to Kindergarten!

This is my sixth year teaching kindergarten at Paul School and I thoroughly enjoy it! I earned a BA in Psychology and a M.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of New Hampshire. I have over 20 years of combined experience as a primary level teacher and elementary school administrator.

For ten years, I had the pleasure of living in the U.S. Virgin Islands and I now live in beautiful Wolfeboro, NH with my husband.  I have two grown children that I adore, and a beautiful baby granddaughter!   I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, swimming, gardening and interior design.

My main goal when teaching kindergarten students is to instill a love of learning.  Kindergarten is an exciting time of exploration for your child. Over the course of the year the children will become more independent, self-reliant and self-confident. The children will build on their natural curiosity about the world around them, socialize with their peers in large and small groups, and explore and develop foundational skills in age and stage appropriate ways.

I use ClassDojo and e-mail to communicate with families. If you cannot reach me on ClassDojo.com, please feel free to e-mail or call me at the school.
