Little Paws - Pre K

Welcome to Little Paws Preschool!

Little Paws is mixed ages 3-5 years old. We provide an enriching preschool program to prepare children with or without special needs for kindergarten. Our three year old program runs 8:45am to 11:15am Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday and our four year old program runs 12:30pm-3:00pm Monday/Tuesday & Thursday/Friday.

Little Paws is a play-based program to prepare preschoolers for kindergarten. In my classroom I use the creative curriculum, which is based on interest areas throughout the classroom. The children have choice time where they are able to move freely around the classroom in and out of interest areas. The areas include block area, dramatic play, writing area, discovery area, art area, sensory table, toys and games, library, dollhouse and the easel. During choice time, I have small group activities going on to focus on individualized skills.

About Mrs. Boston

I have been teaching for 18 years. I have taught preschool for 13 of those years. I have my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and my Masters degree in literacy and language arts. I live in Maine with my husband and two children ages 6 and 9. I enjoy gardening, baking and relaxing with my family. I am passionate about helping children enjoy school and grow at their own pace.

I truly have a passion for teaching. Preschoolers are my favorite age. They have such a joy for life and learning. I enjoy preparing them for their school career and providing them with the skills to become successful lifelong learners.
