Special Education

Bio
I started working at the Paul School in 1994. I began as a paraprofessional and then went on to earn my Bachelor’s Degree and teacher certification in Elementary Education and Special Education. I loved teaching in a classroom but really wanted to work in Special Education. I began working as a case manager six years ago. Through the Dyslexia Center I earned certification in Orton Gillingham to provide instruction to students with reading disabilities and then continued on to a Masters Degree in instruction and Leadership.
My children attended Paul School and now I have grandchildren who will be attending. I am fortunate to work at a school where the staff, the students and the families feel like family to me.
When I’m not at school I spend time with my husband, family, and grandchildren. I enjoy reading and love word games.
